How to Build Linux-based PC Entertainment

It’s not a day longer considered suitable only used Linux for servers, which is only used by programmers and network administrators. The last few years Linux has evolved and transformed into a comfortable operating system and user friendly.

If this computer has been transformed into a multifunction device, Linux was able to follow the trend for work or entertainment. At least two approaches can be taken in building the Linux operating system to support the work and as a medium of entertainment.

First,  install and use Linux distribution that is designed to meet the needs of multi-functionality. There are some Linux distributions like that, call it UbuntuStudio, OpenSuSE, and Mandrival. Perhaps it is not perfect but at least 100% of distributions of the most important is complete from the supporting devices work and entertainment.

If these distributions are discussed, perhaps not much that can be reviewed because all are readily available. It is precisely now the question is how to maximize use Linux distribution other than those mentioned above in order to serve the needs of these multifunctional.

The discussion this time will be focused on Fedora and Ubuntu distributions. Because, given the relative distribution outside the most popular.

When asked whether the Fedora and Ubuntu is ready for use for work, of course the answer is yes. Ubuntu, even minimalist, at least have been equipped with several multimedia applications and standard office software.
